How to Integrate Leanbe with Slack

It is possible to connect Leanbe account with Slack to collect idea requests directly from Slack, besides checking the new idea requests through the Slack channel.
The tutorial will show how to establish a connection and how to add an idea request.

Steps to connect your Leanbe account with Slack

From your Leanbe Dashboard open the Settings tab and click Integrations.




Choose Slack from the list and click Connect.




Choose the appropriate workspace with the channel and click Allow.




Please note, that the selected channel will be the place where you will receive notifications about new idea requests.

Steps to add an idea request from Slack

There are 2 options to submit an idea.

Option 1

Using the Slack / command

Open the workspace which is connected with Leanbe, choose channel and press / from the keyboard.

Choose Leanbe.




Click Submit idea request.




Edit the Title of the idea request if required, add a Description, choose a Product the idea relates to and click Submit.




To check the submitted idea, from your Leanbe account open the Ideas of the Product section.

Option 2

Using the More actions button

Open the workspace, which is connected with Leanbe and choose the message you want to add as an idea request.

Click More actions and choose Submit idea request.




Edit the Title of the idea request if required, add a Description, choose a Product the idea relates to and click Submit.




To check the submitted idea,  from your Leanbe account open the Ideas of the Product section as mentioned before.

Once you receive an idea request through different channels and public portal, you get a notification about the newly added idea on the Slack channel which was chosen during the integration.
